Last November 13, 2023, the adoption community had the honor of witnessing a very special conference, offered by Psychologist Florencia Lalor, in collaboration with the KUNE Adoption and Post-Adoption Foundation. What made this talk extraordinary was not only its academic and professional approach, but also Flor’s valuable personal perspective as an adoptee.

Under the theme of “searching for origins of adopted children”, Flor shared her personal journey, shedding light on the emotions, challenges and realities that many adopted children face in their search for identity. At the same time, she offered tools and advice for families who have adopted children, helping them to better understand and support this intimate process.

The collaboration with the KUNE Foundation underscores the importance of these spaces for dialogue and support. Adoption is a journey full of love, but also of questions and challenges. Thanks to initiatives like this one, families have the opportunity to get closer, learn and grow together.
